Informatics Specialist - Eclipsys

DESCRIPTION

Prospective candidates will:
  • Prepare and conduct formal presentations for large groups for key decision makers at the executive level
  • Develop, maintain and enhance the clinical information system to meet optimal needs of clinical users
  • The analyst will have a clear understanding of hospital clinical operations
  • Be able to translate user’s requests into appropriate clinical system functionality
  • Work closely with other analysts to create, implement and support order entry, result retrieval, documentation, and alerts in the hospital clinical information system.
  • The Clinical Analyst will also be responsible for coordinating processes and tasks regarding the team as well as oversee projects for assigned business unit(s). This may also include: team leadership, monitoring project activities; ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of the information; and providing all levels of project support where necessary.
  • Demonstrate superior interpersonal and communication skills. Conduct customer conferences and assist consultants with their communications.
  • Communicate project status on a regular basis to management and maintain a repository of project documentation.
  • Provide feedback to management on team members’ performance
  • Articulate cost benefits for performing change-in-scope tasks
REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Minimum five years total of healthcare experience operating in a leadership role either at a hospital, vendor or consulting company
  • Minimum five years working with the Eclipsys application(s)
  • Minimum of two years healthcare IT consulting experience providing project management services in Clinical Applications
  • Extensive experience with MS Project (required)
  • Extensive experience creating Current State and Future State Analysis (required)
  • Extensive experience with Visio (required)
  • PMI Certification (preferred )
